Walk That Duck: The Moments Behind the Designs
My designs all start with something from my world. Some are obvious, some are for everyone who watched every episode. Here's the story behind each one.
You Betta Walk That Duck
The one everyone asks about. The front stacks the talent-show line in huge acid-yellow letters. The back adds a red badge with a fierce little duck in full lashes splitting a wooden board, RPDR 15, A-N-E-T-R-A QUACK and 01-06-2023, the date season 15 premiered. A board break, a duck walk: if you know, you know.
The katana and the runway look
Two designs show me in the yellow and black look with studs and spikes: one kneeling with a katana, one in a high kick above the ANETRA name. They're a nod to the taekwondo that runs through every performance.
The butterfly
The blackletter Anetra wordmark in hot pink sits above a white butterfly drawn like an old engraving. The butterfly is a motif you'll also spot as a tattoo in my photos.
#TeamAnetra
Pink lettering, a mint outline and yellow lightning bolts: #TEAM ANETRA is the one for everyone who picked a side on day one.
Galaxy, eye and pop-up
Galaxy puts me in a silver crown among planets and shooting stars. Iconic Eye is a close-up of a painted eye with glitter shadow and a sharp white streak. The pop-up design jokes in old computer windows: Error: Too much beauty.
Pick your moment
Every design comes on tees, long sleeves, crewnecks and hoodies, with kids' and youth sizes too.
